missions and mercy

Trinity Presbyterian is a congregation dedicated to manifesting the mercy of Christ and seeking to fulfill the mission he gave the church of discipling the nations. It is our desire to minister not only in word, but in deed, in both local and global arenas.

We have members involved in a wide variety of forms of ministry. To learn more, or to get involved, please contact one of our committee leaders:

  • Local Mercy and Missions Committee: Jerry Hampton (jrh7864 @ yahoo.com)
  • Global Mercy and Missions Committee: David Smolin (davdes @ bellsouth.net) and Phillip Woods (pwoods @ resourcemgt.com)

Mission and Ministry Involvement

Trinity Presbyterian is devoted to the work of church planting as a key means of spreading Christ's kingdom. We were the overseeing church for St. Mark in Franklin, TN and currently oversee Christ Church in Atlanta, GA.

Here is an article outlining Pastor Lusk's vision for mercy and justice ministries: "Aiming at Shalom" (off-site).
